Terms of Service

By accessing or using Tripmix (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Tripmix is a platform for building and sharing travel guides. You can add places from Google Maps, organize them into guides and itineraries, and share them publicly or with collaborators.
2. Accounts
You must be 13 years or older to use Tripmix. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at email@tripmix.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create on Tripmix — guide descriptions, notes, itineraries, and any other original material you contribute. By posting content, you grant Tripmix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you post does not violate the rights of others or applicable law.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or harmful content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in an automated way without permission
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Google Maps and Places
Place data displayed in Tripmix is sourced from Google's Places and Maps APIs. Your use of this data is subject to Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. The Service displays this data in accordance with Google's attribution requirements.
6. Intellectual Property
The Tripmix name, logo, and application code are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information — including place details sourced from Google — is accurate or current.
Travel involves risk. Information in guides on Tripmix is user-generated and may be out of date. Always verify important details before traveling.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tripmix and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice within the Service.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Sections 3, 7, and 8 survive termination.
